Melani School of Dance was established in 1999 and we are located in Melkbosstrand, Cape Town. What started out as a small intimate ballet class soon evolved and, today, we find ourselves training hundreds of dancers in various dance styles! We take pride in our high standard of teaching as well as our high moral compass regarding integrity and passion. Melani School of Dance is a professional dance school providing children of all ages the opportunity to study dance within a disciplined, creative, and passionate environment.

Dance is an emotional outlet and can assist in taking away from our high paced lives by allowing the music and movement to release stress, tension and bottled-up emotion.  By performing on stage, alongside peers or even one on one during class, we are continuously building confidence from a young age.  These factors are crucial in child development.

Many children have dreams and aspirations to be a professional dancer. The most important work starts when they are young. My vision is to ensure that children are given the opportunity from an early age to develop their skills and desires with the correct training and guidance to manifest their dreams and achieve their goals
